Good comments. I watched the game last night. It's the 4th official's job to tell the ref how much extra time to play and that was 5 mins. So, how can the ref justify an extra 3 minutes on top of that? Either the ref wanted a Liverpool win (I don't think he booked any NUFC player for timewasting so no justification for adding so much extra time on) or the 4th official got it wrong and is not fit to do the job. Newcastle have come on leaps and bounds since EH and the consortium took over and I think the 'cabal' at the top of the Premiership are worried. I'm a dyed in the wool Mackem and even I thought you were robbed. Also, not convinced that Isak's 2nd was offside either – he looks a good signing. Hope the frustration is taken out on Palace and you give them a hiding!
