Well, for me, the Stadium should stay right where it is. Saudi Arabia has one of the biggest, if not the biggest, construction companies in the world, Saudi Binladin Group, I'm sure they will find a solution. This company, along with Fly Saudi, were behind the rise of the Williams F1 team which lead to Alan Jones becoming the World Champion. As for the pathetic "Fair Play" rule, the Saudis can do what all other clubs do, invent a Company, or Investment Group, and put as much money required into the club (same as ManC, PSG, and Barcelona).

I totally disagree with your new stadium theory. You just can’t do that with the history of our ground. Money talks. We will expand where we can in the stadium right now, but in the future, plans will be accepted for east stand development etc- mark my words. Money talks! Especially when the city council are so short of money. No new stadium will happen.

You have sold tour soul to the devil. Maybe the new stadium could be called The We behead Women and Gay People Stadium. Go on earn your success don`t buy it. Have some integrity.

I think theres still potential to expand the existing stadium quite a lot, upwards as well as outwards. Would be great if they can keep the city centre site. Don't forget 'No Business on the Moor' campaign in 1998 when the club wanted to build a new stadium. I support the club but campaigned against that move and would do so again.

Sounds like you're saying if you've got enough money to grease enough palms the listed buildings can be demolished and bollocks to the listed status. Christ I hope not. No stadium expansion is worth sweeping away the city's precious heritage.

So nice to be in such great hands finally. Love the dig at Cashley and his 10,000 half season ticket handout plight. It would be a shame to see a name change again, but if it means the success offered by the owner's that us as fans are so desperate for, then I am all for it. At the end of the day it will alway's be St. James' Park in it's present location. Exciting times ahead, onwards and upwards. HWTL

would need to research it, but why not have the club devolve the stadium so that the ground it is built upon and the small surround is named 's.t james' park', then basically say the stadium itself is nameless and rebrand it that way, so you would be selling the naming rights to the stadium itself but the foundation of the stadium is and will always remain 's.t james' park'.

HOW TO BLOCK A CHANNEL ON YOUTUBE

You remind me of my 7 year old grandson.
He came running up to me and said "I nearly died today at school!"
After some discussion it turns out he had a scratch on the back of his neck.

Despite your sensationalistic, click-baiting load-a-bollocks headline Newcastle United have not CONFIRMED plans to EXTEND St. James' Park.
What they did was confirm that they would be looking at available options to increase capacity, one of which would be to expand St James' Park

    I'm feeling generous, you choose.

    The options are;-

    1. you have a poor grip of the English Language.
    2. You're a click-baiter.
    3. You're a pathological liar.

Ive mentioned it before the toon in the next ten years will reduce the capacity of the ground to around twenty thousand and it will be all boxes all heated all waiter service and all very expensive. The owners have no need for fifty thousand fans when they can have five Billion world wide fans paying via T.V. rights. The days of the players going home on the bus with the fans are left in the history books, the future looks as bright as the mid day sun ……………………..if you just happen to be a Billionaire owner/s of a first class club.

The stadium has to stay where it is, the Park at back is full of crime. Should offer to buy up some industrial lands around the city centre and Quayside and turn it in to greenbelt nature parks. Keep as much of the park at the back.

Hopefully gallowgate does get upgraded or find more ways to get more seats in. Love going down to matches but always sold out no point getting a season ticket as live so far away.

I think we’re over estimating things a bit here and shouldn’t get carried away, it’s one thing building a team up, it’s another thing a winning things and it’s yet another thing to be continually winning things – only then could there be a need beyond expansion, imo. That’s a very long way off.

Play at gateshead for a year or 2 with added seating. Demolish st James's park and rebuild into a 70,000 seater stadium designed in a way with potential to add to it if needed. Hard in the short term but imagine a purpose built mega arena right in the city centre. I think that's the only way to continue to have a stadium in the city centre.

There was plans in the 90s the build a brand new 100000 seat stadium in leazes park. But the environmentalist blocked it with a petition. Given the state of the park these days with little poorly lighten and youths hanging around at night maybe Newcastle could build a stadium and conserve and maintain the land around it and even develope on that land to help the community

Soon as the fat bastard pissed off King Kev, the writing was on the wall. I fucked off and vowed never to back until he ws gone….which I didn't….soon as the Saudis took over, I new that i would be happy to sell me granny for a season ticket!

Life long toon fan and don’t want piss on anyones chips, but I think (think) there’s a rule whereby you can’t have a bigger capacity than the national stadium so that’s the upper limit. Hope we can do a deal with the council to expand, money talks so fingers crossed for the future 🤞🤍🖤👍

It was a great interview 😊 It does sound like he’s looking for creative solutions and improving fan experience, which is music to my ears 🙌 Expanding St. James’, looking at all sponsorship opportunities (not just the stadium’s name), and other sources of revenue. I know the major sources of revenue are sponsorship and broadcasting rights, but there might be other potential areas that can be explored

I think you are forgetting how amazing St James park is. Your talking about adding 12k seats and sacrificing the location of the Church. I hope St James park is here long after I've gone.
