Just another day at St.James Park ,Newcastle to me are like a jet engine ready for lift off and now you got money behind you it will be interesting to see how you go …good luck from a Derby fan.

It’s an absolute disgrace, that the true fans who boycotted St James Park & helped get rid of the Ashley regime, can’t now get their season tickets back!
Where as the many sheep that did nowt, the fickle pretend fans & the glory fans who have jumped on the band wagon have robbed the real fans of there seats.
    Disgusting ?

The club is on a journey, skywards!!!!! Plain and simple!
What’s great is that Eddie is capturing our rise on his videos and it’ll give us all great memories when we look back on this in the future.
Weirdly, I managed to get tickets for both matches no problem online, didn’t even queue around 10.45am.
Onwards and upwards, another great video Eddie ??. ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️

I hate to say but in future your club will stop having public sales if ibrox has any indication of what you have in store. Our club no longer has public sales, and there are several hoops to jump through to be "allowed" to buy a ticket.

The turnaround of the club has been remarkable and we are entering a very exciting era. The big 'downer' is that living outside of the north east getting tickets for home games is going to be very challenging.

I was watching your video, and it made me want to ponder out stadiums Ltd seating.

I'm not from Newcastle, but after spending time on Google earth (hahaha yes I know) … but it appears there is a big plot of land between the millennium bridge and gateshead college. As far as I can tell its currently only car parks.

It's a space easily big enough for a huge stadium. It's still city center. There would be some iconic pictures of the stadium with the Tyne bridge and millennium bridge. Quite a skyline!

I know it's in gateshead technically but surely this location would be a good option if we ever did leave SJP

I have to agree about Diaby, much as I would love to see him in the black and white. It's a year too soon, were we to qualify for Europe at the end of this season, it would be a high expectation. But, Newcastle are unlikely to get any big 'names' currently playing European football unless it's a lifetimes dream for them to put on the black and white. Might be better looking for a South American hoping to showcase himself this season.

I'm a Geordie born and bred but my love of the club and sport faded with the absolute misery that we went through under Ashley. Me and my sister managed to get tickets to both, we are so excited. The last time I went to a Newcastle United match was in 2010. Away at Ashton Gate to Bristol City in the championship. Although I have been to St. James Park throughout my life leading up to that. I absolutely cannot wait to get back in there and feel the atmosphere again, except this time we have a lot to look forward to!

Logged into the system dead on 10am to find I was 3546 in the queue and my wife logged on 10 seconds after me and was nearly 8000 in the queue, crazy times mate. However we got 4 tickets each for each of the games. Happy days mate ???

Great video as ever. Amazing scenes Eddie, not even during Keegans days did we have this. Most clubs would dream of this for Cup Final tickets and this is us for friendlies. The giant has well and truly awoken

Good vid eddie enjoy the matches m8.still dont no why they got chris wood in waste of 25mill would have helped with getting more deals done with the extra cash by not signing wood, has had not much impact since he joined.

Managed to get tickets for the Bilbao match, and in the Gallowgate end no less. My son came home from school and I just told him to read the email I had open on me tablet, he was jumping all over. It may be just a friendly but we don’t get to many matches, so he was chuffed, as am I to be fair like.

For me we have signed well so far. We now have a solid defence and midfield.I really hope your wrong about the remaining budget as I don't see that being enough to get us a good enough striker and winger. We still massively need players that provide goals and assists in this team otherwise I cant see us challenging any higher then 10th due to our attack and creativity.

I'd be surprised if both matches don't sell out not only are Atalanta and Athletic Bilbao top quality sides but there's a buzz around the city that I hope stays for a very long time. Certainly exciting times ahead!

Seen a few people complaining about the prices for the freindly matches they have sort memories because back when Sir John Hall and Freddie Shepherd owned the club there was a few times they use to sell adult tickets for £20 that was back in the early 00's lol

Hi Eddie. Love watching your vidios on Newcastle and the area. I am A toon fan living in North Wales. My wife has a connection to NUFC . Her great grandfather was captain of Newcastle in the early 1900's .His Name was Alic Gardner and her great uncle was Andy Aitkin. It is great learning all about the Newcastle area. Keep up the great work ?

  18. Andy Allom

I was up at 3am my time and got about 3000 in line. Got tickets for both matches. So only home for 3 weeks and get to see the Toon at least twice, and do the tour with your good self. Going to be a great weekend. (Shhh. Bilbao are my Spanish team as well. Don't tell)

Trust me PIF have the financial power to blow any club out the water, UAE’s Man City & Qatar’s PSG owners just can’t compete with KSA PIF NUFC, it’s billionaire boys vs Trillionaire boys.

To be a huge club a huge stadium with state of the art training facilities are very much needed. NU fans have to be open to moving to a bigger stadium if the current stadium cannot be maximum to its potential due to planning permission and issues with the surrounding areas. Let’s be honest the current looks tacky, old and dated with writings and banners all over the place, it’s an eye sore. PIF have the clubs best intentions at heart and what they really want is a brand new state of the art Mega stadium for NUFC which would eclipse Man City, PSG, Man Utd, Liverpool stadiums. By building a a new stadium will accommodate more fans and season ticket holders, International matches, European cup competitions like the champions league or Europa Cup finals etc but in order for this to happen PIF need the NU fans to get behind and support them as the last thing they want is the fans to be unhappy against the idea of moving, PIF love and respect their fans and will only consider moving they cannot maximise St James Park due to many issuers of planking permission etc. A bigger stadium means more fans, better revenue to keep FFP happy, it would attract world class players who would want to join the club and globally NUFC would be recognised. PIF want NUFC to be the new footballing super power in the world and moving to a new stadium can also add to the culture of NU it shouldn’t be seen anything otherwise.

It’s a no brainer for me.
