So tired of pros who cant even make a simple run and cross with their opposite foot – it gets really old especially with ASM and Miggy…I am like practice everyday with the opposite foot whatever it takes!

I noticed in pre season a lot of loose passes from Trippier, and he was quite poor against Brighton, but I do think once up to full fitness he will come good and chip in with a couple of set piece goals and assists this season

i completely agree that we need to play better. our passing was woeful all game. them being good doesnt mean we shouldnt be able to pass. Wilson was getting into positions on the wing, so we had no striker at times. means our mids were not switched on at all. Wilsons attitude was pretty poor also. Miggy played good at times and Pope also, the rest were average at best. Im hoping to see Anderson gets some minutes soon. I would have rathered him coming on as a false 9, rather than Wood.

All the best to Paul. You're a tough lad. God Bless you. Have a speedy recovery mate. I think that extreme heat may have contributed to it.
    You'll bounce back for sure.

Hiya Ditchey, I hope you get well soon, and be back on the Toon Review fairly soon, Good away point on Saturday, I would of taken that before a ball was kicked, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England

What the hell is going on with this woke rubbish. Was it men playing so was it not a man's game? If women were playing then it's a womans game but you can't say that they might not identify as a man or woman or a athlete or a footballer . Cancel commentary unless you ask every player how they identify! Right no one can say any player is crap it might hurt their feefees so stop saying Chris Wood isn't as good as every other player no singing on the terraces it might trigger to opposition fans or players. No tackling on the pitch it might scare the player. People should be able to say what they want unless threatening violence. Where does this SJW virtue signalling stuff end?

Thanks for bringing the review. Wasn't expecting without Paul (obviously get well brother). Nice surprise and good watch and listen while at work this morning 👍 Thanks Billy for Hosting and Stato for the figures and both for balanced review 🤝 ⚫️⚪️⚽️. Be honest I thought on the day we're poor at times, but time and reflection it's a hard earned point and defensively good performance 👍

Like the way Statto quickly moved over Maxi’s ‘Posession Lost’ stat, no bias there 😂😂😂. I think Maxi has been told to pass more which might have impacted his ‘natural’ game. As he becomes more used to this he will get better (I hope). Great review guys. Hope Paul is recovering well.

of course it's an idiom. In this context man is a global term and not related to gender as in mankind which refers to the whole of humanity. This dumbed down snowflake thinking is pathetic

so let me get his right its ok for stato to call some one a SCROTE ????? but not say mans game or handbags ????? just trying to point out the can of worms any one opens when you open that bag old boys but i agree on souness a scote lol

I agree the strip was terrible, it looked like a training top and to be fair they played like they were in a training session up front anyway. Almiron and ASM poor final ball as usual, bruno quite game Joe was strong and sturdy in midfield, Willock has no goal threat from midfield anymore. Wilson isolated and struggling, Defence soild enough especially keeper Pope was mom for Newcastle. Tactics were all wrong in this game so Howe was not the best either. But a point is not to bad if we are looking for top 10 finish, if we want top 6 then we need to at least show a bit more quality in our away performances. We need more attacking options brought in tbh.

This was an excellent point, good teams eke out a result when they're not playing great, we defended well as a unit and Pope proved why is the number 1, we will play worse than this and win, we will play better than this and loose, that is football. 2 games in 4 points, last season it took 9 games to reach this mystical figure another 5 games before a win. I expect a couple additions before the window closes, to boost the attack.

l a good point but have to say I was worried 70 minutes in when you looked at the bench and there was not one player I felt could change the game even having 5 subs doesn't help much when the players aren't there
