NEWCASTLE UNITED ARE RELEGATED! | ARSENAL 2-0 NEWCASTLE

Following Arsenal beating Newcastle United 2-0 at The Emirates, I think we can say this with certainty. Newcastle United are going down with a billion in the bank. Eddie Howe isn’t going to be able to keep this team in the Premier League no matter how much money he is given in the January transfer window.

It really does feel that way and no one has survived this long without winning a game but there’s still only 6 points between us and 17th and we’ve seen it so many times where the team at the bottom goes on a little run and hopefully sign 2/3 signings to keep us up

This is the problem with football now it's so reactionary. Remember Liverpool were top of the table last season at boxing day then by mid february we were nearer 8th. There's a good 20 something games left to play in the season it's far from over

Interested to see how much they spend and what mercenaries they get at the beginning of their journey.
Remember the utter dross city got when they first got that Thai money?

Disagree that anyone can say Newcastle are relegated at this stage of the season – remember that leicester won 7 of last nine games from bottom to escape relegation and next year won the league title – the Jan transfer window will be crucial

This statement is utterly ridiculous. Yes they were beaten. By Arsenal. Wow. Who would have thunk dat? Everybody. They were better than under Bruce and what is even more important the other relegation candidates aren't much better. You only need three teams that are worse than you. If NUFC don't beat Norwich and Burnley than they most likely gone. But making this statement after losing to Arsenal is just rubbish. The other clubs fighting for survival have a similar tough program ahead, so nothing has changed. They need to mind the gap to Norwich & co and strike gold with a few transfers. Unlike Norwich however, they have the money to bring in better players. They will have to overpay, of course, but nothing has changed at this point.

Only 6 points off 17th and have Norwich and Burnley next, not a slight on them but if we can get 3/4 points out of that it'll give us a fighting chance if we strengthen the team in January. I might just be optimistic but I think you can already see a improvement in the team under Howe than what it was under Bruce. But the defence is a lost cause, I don't even think they'd cut it in top half of championship.

Jonjo Shelvy:biggest flop in Premier league history,to believe this guy actually used to play for Liverpool just shows how far they've come and how low Newcastle have fallen, terrible, terrible player.

I've been saying for weeks that we're getting relegated, I wish that every other delusional fan would stop dreaming and accept reality. In my opinion it's what the club needs, do down clear our the dead wood and rebuild from scratch

i like you rory, but this analysis of this is piss poor, if we had a bit of luck we could of easily gone in half time 1-0,2-0, you cant judge a teams season on losing to arsenal, we havnt won there in the prem since andy carroll headed the winner in when we had chris hughton as manager, so wasn't expecting anything here tbh, we need 6 points from norwich and burnley, then during the december run everton are beatable and man utd are still shit lol, plus depends what brendon rodgers team turns up as there beatable to, then if all that goes to plan things will look a lot healthier come jan then depends who we sign to keep above that relegation zone, i no it looks bleak as fuck but honestly think we will survive

What a poor video. Newcastle were never going to beat Arsenal, get real. Let’s have it right, your content is about as interesting as your garden, mate. ?

18 g/a in his debut season as an 18 year old in a new country as well as top praise from the likes of Klopp, Ronaldinho and Pele – there's a bit more to why people rate martinelli beyond the Stamford bridge goal

You hear all these stats about how barely anyone has survived from the point where newcastle are now, but people seem so quick to forget that if come January, Newcastle are still bottom. They can just splash 200million. That's something nobody in their position has ever been able to do.

Ive never seen a newcastle nut hugger for views flip the coin so fast, but then again hes saying what toon fans are thinking, just remember his newcastle nut hugging got him alot of subs when the takeover happened ? newcastle shill disguised as a chelsea fan

I love you Rory but this is a bunch of limp wristed twaddle, Newcastle still have 25 games to play and are 6 points below Leeds… the season is not over stop being dramatic for views

  15. Patrick Adams

I'm going to be bold and say Leeds for the drop….Bielsa has only got one way of playing whiich i think the other teams in the league are starting to figure out, there'a no plan B with them…as for Newcastle i still think that they will be alright as crazy as it sounds…they have enough goals in the team to get out of it…i think yesterday was more of a live training exercise for the defense, you can already see what Howe's trying to do,they were mugged off by the ref and VAR that was a penalty for Wilson anywhere else on nthe pitch the ref blows for a free kick….he will buy better defenders in January for sure and maybe ship out Joelinton and get another more reliable striker…but the next 2 games are absolutely critical must win games

  16. StuffbyAaron

Oh god Rory. Love you're content and its usually spot on – but you don't need to turn into the Piers Morgan of YouTube football with "spicy takes".

We aren't being judge on games away to the top 6.
