Against the top teams, where we threaten, or at worst, hold our own, because of our energy and high press, we have ran out of steam and allowed them back into it. With a quality bench, as we will have when Isak, ASM, Shelvey etc, are all fit, we will be subbing class for class, and the energy and press can just continue. Take down City, Liverpool, Manure, Chelsea and Arsenal, and the title is ours.

Joelinton will not be available for the Southampton game as he received a yellow card in the last match making 5 yellow cards, but available for Crystal Palace.
To me long term my team would include ASM on the left & Miggy on the right. In midfield Joelinton, Shelvey, Bruno. Isaak would be an impact sub.
Lascelles was a good club captain and deservedly kept that. Trippier was absolutely right to give him the armband.
I think the break is a good thing in the sense of getting players fully fit and be prepared for the second half of the season yet have a bit of a rest. But yeh, momentum is a good thing 🫤
